Peihang Li Named 2025 Lifesavers Traffic Safety Scholar

HIACE Lab Ph.D. student Peihang Li was selected as a 2025 Lifesavers Traffic Safety Scholar and attended the Lifesavers Conference on Roadway Safety held March 9–11, 2025, in Long Beach, California. The national program recognizes undergraduate and graduate students who demonstrate commitment to improving traffic safety through research and practice. Peihang was one of 29 students across the U.S. selected through a competitive process to engage with leading experts in engineering, public health, law enforcement, and transportation policy. The scholarship provided $1,200 in support to cover conference participation and travel expenses.
