Kaiser & Peihang Share Their Latest Work in Engineering Research Day

Engineering Research Day @ TTU — Lab Spotlight

Today at Texas Tech University Engineering Research Day, our lab was represented by two PhD students, Kaiser and Peihang, who presented their latest work.

Kaiser presented research on the computer vision/perception side—focusing on how learning-based systems can interpret visual data for robust scene understanding in real-world environments.

Peihang presented research on the human factors side—studying human behavior, perception, and interaction with intelligent systems, with an emphasis on improving safety and human-centered design.

Together, their talks highlight the lab’s broader direction: advancing intelligent systems that are both technically strong and human-aware.
